Privacy Policy

Forgemoji values your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and your rights. Our core principle: we do not collect or store personally identifiable information.

2.1 Technical data (automatic)

• IP address (partial, in-memory only): Used solely for rate limiting (abuse prevention). Not used for identification. Cleared on server restart; never persisted to a database.
• Access logs: Standard server logs generated by Vercel (request time, path, status code). Retention follows Vercel's default platform policy.

2.2 Information you provide

• Emoji selections: The two emoji characters you choose are used only to construct the AI generation request and are not retained afterward.
• The Service requires no account or registration. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any account credentials.

2.3 What we do NOT collect

We do not use tracking cookies, behavioral analytics, or advertising pixels.

• Enforcing rate limits to prevent abuse
• Forwarding generation requests to the MiniMax AI API
• Diagnosing service errors

We do not use your information for advertising, user profiling, data brokering, or any other purpose beyond those listed above.

4.1 MiniMax Image Generation API

Your emoji selection is converted into a descriptive prompt and sent to MiniMax servers for image generation. This data is governed by MiniMax's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. MiniMax may use de-identified input/output data for model improvement.

4.2 Vercel Hosting

The Service is hosted on Vercel. Server infrastructure and log retention are governed by the Vercel Privacy Policy.

4.3 Emoji Picker

The emoji selection UI loads images from Google Noto Emoji (OFL-1.1 open-source license) via Google CDN. This loading is subject to Google's Terms of Service.

We do not persist user behavior data or generated content in any database we control. IP rate-limit counters are stored in server memory and cleared on instance restart. Generated image URLs are served by MiniMax's CDN; we do not store copies.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). If you believe a minor has used the Service without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Because we do not collect personal data, most data subject requests (access, deletion, portability) do not apply. However:

• EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the right to inquire about any personal data processing. Given our minimal data collection, we expect most requests can be satisfied by confirming no personal data is held.
• California residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what data is collected — our answer is: none beyond what is described above.
